The Masters

Over the years, on my quest for expansion and evolution, I have studied the teachings of a number of modern day masters and self-help gurus. The category titled Messages from the Masters will include posts where I will refer to these teachings as useful resources for those of us on the spiritual path, or those of you who are simply interested and want to know more – more about what else is out there beyond what we can see and touch, more about what life has to offer you.

If you are ready to break free from old, outdated, limited thoughts, behaviours and patterns, that no longer serve you, then this is exactly where you need to be.

If you are done with your personal history and would love to consistently live in the now with love, light and purpose then start with the wisdom of Eckhart Tolle.

“The form of this moment is the portal into the formless dimension. It is the narrow gate that Jesus talks about that leads to life. Yes, It’s very narrow: it’s only this moment. To find it, you need to roll up the scroll of your life on which your story is written, past and future. Before there were books, there were scrolls and you rolled them up when you were done with them.

So put your story away. It is not who you are. People usually live carrying a burden of past and future, a burden of their personal history, which they hope will fulfil itself in the future. It won’t so roll up that old scroll. Be done with it.”

Many of my future blogs will be centred on how I have applied the wisdom of these masters to everyday life. As I’ve discovered over the years, it is a delicate balance between doing and being. Yet the grand-daddy of what we are here to master is knowing. Introducing…some of the-self help masters who will help you on your way to knowing what is right for you, right now, in this moment.
